Anne Marie helps the Hub team with prospecting and project management. For more than six years she worked for various Kentucky nonprofits doing community engagement and development work, and she arrived at the Hub via a nonprofit newsroom in Louisville, Kentucky.

Benjamin works on user-facing and server side systems, ensuring the Hub's services are well architected, tested, and documented. He has over a decade of experience helping education, social media, and public health organizations innovate and bring new products and experiences to life.

Daniel develops software, improves processes and helps to set technology direction for the News Revenue Hub. Daniel joined the News Revenue Hub from the Texas Tribune where he served as Chief Technology and Security Officer. In previous roles he worked at Mutual Mobile, The University of Texas at Austin, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Graham leads the Customer Success team and works to ensure newsrooms are getting the most out of their services with the Hub. Previously, Graham was the managing editor for the San Antonio Report where she directed editorial strategy and oversaw unprecedented year-over-year audience growth. Graham is also a member of the Online News Association (ONA)’s board of directors.

JT has over ten years of experience in project and program management and has functioned as scrum master, product owner, and agile coach on development teams mainly in the e-commerce space. At the Hub, he works with product and technical teams to streamline process and deliver value.

Lizzy helps drive business outcomes at the Hub by contributing to knowledge management, company operations and user research and evaluation. She previously worked as a reporter covering state government and policy in Pennsylvania.

Mary founded the News Revenue Hub in 2016 to help news organizations achieve greater financial sustainability. Prior to founding the Hub, Mary was the Publisher/COO of Voice of San Diego. During her seven-year tenure, she spearheaded the creation of VOSD’s membership program and grew the organization’s annual revenue by nearly $1 million.

Nikki helps the Hub’s project management team by providing clients with software support as well as audience building strategies. She previously worked as the Director of Marketing and Communications at a nonprofit in Atlanta, GA that served children and young adults with special needs and learning differences.

Rachel is our user defender! She thoughtfully applies user experience and interface design principles to research, execution, and implementation of our products. She brings experience from advertising, marketing, and tech spaces to enhance the users interactions and experiences with our brand, products, and services.

Sophie leads product strategy for the Hub's technology and data offerings in service of rebuilding the news industry to be more equitable and community-driven. She was previously the senior newsroom growth expert on the Hub's consulting team, working with newsrooms on audience growth and high-level data analysis. Prior to the Hub, she worked at Google as a product strategist for news and ranking, and at The Washington Post in a variety of news analytics and audience roles.

Tristan Loper co-founded the News Revenue Hub and served as Chief Product Officer and Chief Operating Officer from 2016 to 2024. In these roles, he led the development of integrated CRM systems, revenue and email marketing tools, and organizational culture initiatives. Currently, Tristan is the Head of National Programs at the Lenfest Institute for Journalism, where he oversees Audience, Engaged Cities, Statewide News Collective Communities of Practice, Beyond Print, greater Pennsylvania, and other initiatives.

Agustín Biancardi assists the technical and business development teams by providing technical support to customers and developing new products. Prior to joining the Hub, he received a bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizations & Society with a minor in Computer Science from Franklin & Marshall College.

Ashley consults on audience and membership strategies for Hub newsrooms. Prior to joining the Hub, Ashley led the Quartz audience team and digital growth initiatives at Inc. magazine.

Evan leads Hub efforts to help newsrooms build and refine audience and membership strategies. Prior to joining the Hub, Evan worked as a senior audience editor at Slate. He has more than six years’ experience working in non-profit news.

Hannah consults on audience and membership strategies for Hub newsrooms. She was previously a project manager at ProPublica, and the director of audience at Reveal where she oversaw the organization’s audience development program; design and product functions; and local initiatives. Before transitioning into journalism, Hannah worked in civic tech at Code for America.

Lily works with Evan on the Hub’s business development team to connect newsrooms with solutions and long term sustainability. Prior to working at the Hub, Lily worked as the membership manager at Voice Media Group and oversaw all aspects of the membership program at four publications. She has experience working both in for profit newsrooms and in non-profit organizations.

Mac helps onboard new clients onto the Hub’s tech stack and supports the project management team with service deliverables. Prior to joining the Hub, she worked as a freelance digital producer and received her master’s in media studies from The New School.

Previously, she worked in two journalism innovation labs, as a senior editor and project manager for Reynolds Journalism Institute (RJI) and as a project manager and audience data and research strategist for Gannett/USA Today Network.

Pia consults on audience and membership strategies for newsrooms. She was previously the senior digital producer at Wired, where she also reported on AI, data privacy, and education tech.

Sarah oversees the organization's strategies for serving the public good by capacity-building in newsrooms. Before joining the Hub, Sarah was the senior director of development at Vox, working across editorial strategy and all business lines; she has worked at Hearst, PR Newswire, and local agencies and nonprofits; and was formerly a documentary writer/producer focused on local narratives of ecological and cultural need in Northeast Florida.

Corey Lynn Fayman has been involved in the field of instructional and interactive design for over twenty-five years, working on projects for The U.S. Army, TAG Heuer, Ford, Maxwell Technologies, National University, Vivendi, and others. As head of the multimedia department at MP3.com, he designed and helped develop dozens of projects, including the first just-in-time production of audio and interactive CDs. He has designed and taught more than twenty interactive design courses at UCSD Extension, SDSU and The Art Institute of California. A former musician and sound designer for the world-famous Old Globe Theatre, he now consults and supports various non-profit organizations in the San Diego area. He is the author of four published mystery novels, the most recent of which, Ballast Point Breakdown, won the Best-in-Show Geisel Award at the 2021 San Diego Book Awards. Mr. Fayman holds a B.A. in English, with a specialization in creative writing, from UCLA, and an M.A. in Educational Technology from San Diego State University.

Her work centers on helping organizations build scalable customer retention strategies. Prior to WordPress VIP, Steph worked at America’s Test Kitchen and the Chicago Tribune where she created new avenues of audience engagement.

John Jakovich is the Chief Innovation Officer for the Tessitura Network, a non-profit software company that provides the leading CRM platform for arts & cultural organizations. John has more than 20 years’ experience as a senior technology leader working with the arts industry's largest nonprofits and most recognizable brands. Previously, he held leadership positions at SofTrek Corporation and Jacobson Consulting Applications providing a variety of software and services to non-profit organizations. John lives in Fort Collins, Colorado, and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
